Operations Manager & Executive Assistant

Tonya serves as Operations Manager and Executive Assistant at Schroon Law PLLC, where she provides high-level administrative support while helping to streamline the firm’s internal systems and workflows. She manages scheduling, client communications, document coordination, and closing logistics, ensuring that the firm operates efficiently and responsively.

 

With more than 16 years of experience in product management and technology leadership, Tonya brings a strategic, process-driven perspective to the firm. She has led cross-functional teams, overseen full software development lifecycles, managed budgets, and driven innovation in highly regulated environments. Her background includes product strategy and stakeholder engagement.  At Schroon Law, Tonya applies this experience to enhance operational efficiency, improve internal processes, and support the thoughtful adoption of technology. Her ability to balance big-picture strategy with meticulous attention to detail allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality client service.

Apple Jane Mortel

Paralegal & Marketing Consultant

Apple serves as both a Paralegal and Marketing Consultant, supporting the firm's legal work and business operations.  She assists with client communications, legal document preparation, case management, and overall workflow coordination, ensuring matters are handled accurately and efficiently.  Her organizational skills and attention to detail help maintain smooth operations and enhance the client experience.  

In addition to her legal responsibilities, Apple leads the firm’s marketing efforts. She develops and manages digital content, oversees social media strategy, and strengthens client engagement across platforms. By combining her experience in legal administration with her marketing expertise, Apple plays an important role in both delivering high-quality client service and enhancing the firm’s visibility and long-term growth.

Patricia Fruelda

Paralegal & Operations Consultant

Patricia serves as a Paralegal and Operations Consultant at Schroon Law PLLC, bringing extensive experience in legal support, financial management, and organizational operations. She plays a central role in both case management and the firm’s internal systems, helping ensure that matters move forward efficiently and accurately.

 

In her paralegal capacity, Patricia assists with document preparation, client communication, file organization, and coordination of transactions. Her attention to detail and thorough understanding of legal processes contribute to smooth case progression and reliable client service.
